A simple last-days-of-summer outfit I sported weekend before last.
The real star of the show are these spike earrings from InPink.com that I've been totally obsessed with since they arrived at my door. I illustrated my desire for spiky baubles in this post.

One year ago this week the 'Occupy Wall Street Movement' kicked off in New York City. Subsequently cities all over the world adopted their own Occupy Movements.
A year on do you think the Occupy Movements made a mark on history? Or will they soon be forgotten?
Have they forced us to re-evaluate how we distribute wealth? Or has nothing changed?
It was a brief but moving moment in our near history and I'd love to know what you thought of it.
Thanks for visiting today.

I don't really know what to think of the occupy movement all over the world. But we have it in Holland too, and I have to admit that I think that those in Holland have no right to complain. Everything is so well organized in Holland and when I see the occupiers in Holland I can't help but think what spoiled brats they are...

Loving those earrings!
ReplyDeleteWhile I don't think the Occupy Movement will be forgotten anytime soon, I had hoped the protests would lead to more lasting changes. But as someone who wasn't alive during other historical movements like the American Civil Rights Movement, I find the idea that people still protest and speak out about causes they believe in inspiring.
i adore this psot. your sunnies rock and the dress is really cool.
