The Olympics: A Fashionable Ode to London

The Summer Olympics are in full swing in London.
So I thought it might be nice to highlight some of the city's (and country's) fashionable side - past and present.

CBS Sunday Morning, one of my favourite magazine shows, did a piece on England's Royal School of Needlework. I know it doesn't sound super exciting, but if you're interested in the role fashion plays in history and politics, I think you'll enjoy this feature.

Another piece from CBS, on London's historic Saville Row. This is where the powerful and wealthy (men) of England learnt to dress the part.

And for those of us who just want to look at beautiful clothes and be inspired, here is a feature video on London Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2012. Enjoy.

Thanks for stopping by! Hope you're enjoying the Games and your weekend!
