Record Store Day + Men's Fashion

This past Saturday was International Record Store Day. My husband Chris is a big music lover, and a pretty talented musician himself, so it's a pretty big deal for him. And that's why early on Saturday morning we headed out and hit three of his favourite record stores, including the location for this shoot: Sonic Boom - a Toronto landmark at Bloor and Bathurst. And I've got a special treat for the fashion loving guys who visit this blog. You know who you are...keep scrolling down.

I told you in this post that I usually end up in the much neglected International section at record stores.
But in the picture below, with the CD in my hand, can you see my first musical love - hip hop!

And as promised, here is a special treat for the guys. My colleague Chris at work had mentioned that maybe it's time to incorporate some men into the blog. Well, lucky for me, my husband Chris has great style, so I'll try to incorporate more of him into this space. Here's the musical hispter being pensive right here.

Thanks for dancing on by!

  37. You both look fabulous! And it seems you really enjoy shopping not only for fashionable clothes, but also for music. So how was your Record Store Day? Were you looking for anything in particular? As I love this day more than Boxing Day, I ransacked almost all of the best record stores in Toronto and found several jazz and blues gems. :) Now I have to wait the whole year for another loots.
