The World Happiness Report was released recently (yes, it's a real thing) and Canadians were found to be the fifth happiest people in the world. Norway, Denmark, Finland and The Netherlands were the top four. Is it something about our colder climates that makes us happy?
I'm trying something new on the blog today, creating a break. So if you want to see the rest of the pictures, click on the prompt below.
We took these pictures at Toronto's Queen's Park, and ran into my dear friend from high school Kevin Modeste. I don't get to see Kevin often, but when we do see each other, we always pick up right where we left off - sarcasm and making fun of each other. Which is why I think Kevin paid me the worst compliment about the blog: "Yeah, I check out your blog regularly. It's like a traffic accident, I know I shouldn't look, but I can't turn away." Uh, thanks Kev? As supportive as you ever were - punk.
Anyway, it's cool because I'm happy. And according to the World Happiness Report, financial stability makes us secure and happy (obviously) but these are the things that equally crucial make us happy: mental and physical health, strong social networks and support, fulfilling marriages and behaving well and kindly towards others. Being kind and loving, makes YOU happy peeps. So let's do it.
Thank you for stopping by...you made me happy. :)
