Style Challenge: What do you wear to a music festival?
Now, in most major North American cities, weather can be pretty unpredictable - Toronto, New York, Detroit - I'm looking at you. So I've put together two looks. Looks that are also age appropriate. One for Rain and one for Shine.
Now, in most major North American cities, weather can be pretty unpredictable - Toronto, New York, Detroit - I'm looking at you. So I've put together two looks. Looks that are also age appropriate. One for Rain and one for Shine.
First for Shine:
- A loose, flouncy
- Comfortable shoes/flats
- A light scarf
- A hat for sure for protection from the sun
- Sunblock - more protection (especially those of you who love to show LOTS of skin)
- A cross body bag so when dancing it can just sling across
- A wider brimmed hat
- A durable jean jacket paired with a favourite band T-shirt - Jackson 5!
- Larger bag, but still cross body - handy if I need to remove layers, and also if I end up picking up some CDs, T-shirts or other swag from the festival
- Switched to rain boots
I hope you enjoying this musically, festival-ly inspired post.

ReplyDeleteLis, my husband is a HUGE Mets fan...so I think by default (and mostly because I don't follow sports) I am too. :) I just wanted to sport a baseball hat since there were so many of them on display during NY Fashion Week. :)

omg are you a mets fan?? I was born and raised near shea stadium (citifield now) so naturally I root for the mets but unfortunately Met fans are a dying breed :(
ReplyDeleteI love the diversity of your rain and shine outfits, they're both casual and chic. And I love both hats. I tried wearing a vintage black hat like yours today but ended up looking like michael jackson (not cute) lol.
hope all is well,
