Shaft: Shut Your Mouth!

Channelling my inner Shaft, a bad mother... Shut Your Mouth! Sorry, can't help but think Black exploitation films from the 70s when I wear this vintage leather and fur coat. I picked up in Kensington Market back in 2003, and it's still one of my favourite pieces ever.

Wearing two other special pieces in this post. My lovely blue t + j designs earrings which I've written about here. And I got these Nine West heels on the same thrifting expedition when I had a terrible encounter with a beautiful yet crazy Diane von Furstenberg dress, check out the story here.

By the way, thanks everyone for your comments on yesterday's posts. Regarding my purchases from Marni, I've decided to keep the silk dress, thanks for your input. And in the 'Tagged' post I mentioned the different meanings of the word tag, some of you came up with other things that I hadn't even thought of like "price tags" (how did I miss that one?); tagging of animals; a Pakistani game "kho kho" that involved "tagging"; amongst other "tag" related uses you guys brought up.
