What I'm Taking to New York City

Today, Chris and I are off to New York City for a few days and we're both thrilled! You'd think that combining two of my big passions: fashion and travel would be bliss. But, I'll tell you the problem: As Chris has recently reminded me, I have a 'travel uniform'. Chris and I have traveled a lot together and I generally wear my standard uniform of jeans, t-shirt, sweater (if necessary) and my favourite denim jacket that has traveled the world with me. Have a look at some of these 'uniform' shots - don't they look uniform?
Well, on this trip to the Big Apple I still don't plant to bring suitcases bursting at the seams. I like to be very utilitarian when travelling, so these are the items I'll be taking, and remixing them together to work for the week.
Gap Jeans worn here & Black Skinny pants worn here.
Chambray Shirt worn here & Black T-shirt Blouse worn here.
Red Cardigan worn here & Grey Cardigan from Zara.
I don't know what kind of time I'll have to get to the computer, so I've set up a few outfit posts in advance and you'll see those in the coming days. Have a great week guys - talk to you soon!

  1. Wonderful travel wardrobe...I didn't see a little black dress and this surprised me. I have a simple Jersey knit dress that rolls up into a small baguette -sort of.

Your jacket must have loads of good karma...lovely travel pics.

  2. Packing is always a little tricky but you really can't go wrong with classic pieces. I'm always careful not to pack too much in case I want to shop during my travels. Have a great trip!

  3. haha, i guess you do have a uniform, but if you love it, why not?
    Have fun in NYC!

  4. have so much fun - ny is my favorite :)

  5. Looking forward to seeing the OUTFITS!

  6. I think it is hard to be fashionable while traveling. Being practical takes over being fashionable! :) But we can still look good! :)

    Enjoy NYC! ♡ from © tanvii.com
