Avani's India Necklace

Today, my dear friends Avani and Amee Patel (they're twins) celebrate their birthdays.
A few years ago, long before I had the chance to go to India myself, Avani brought this necklace back for me. I was so thrilled!

The shape of this necklace is so Indian. It could be the spinning wheel seen on the Indian flag.
It could image behind the Shiva Nataraja.
Or it could just the blazing sun beating down on you in Mumbai's notorious traffic jams.

Blazer: thrifted; Blouse: H&M in Vienna; Pants: Zara; Kenneth Cole Shoes: thrifted; Necklace: Avani's Gift from India; Earrings: Not sure.

Happy Birthday Avani and Amee!
Thanks for being such wonderful, inspiring, brave friends!
